Shoe organizers that slide under the bed are by far the most versatile of the organizers available on the market. These organizers are designed with several compartments that come in many different shapes and sizes, for storing large pairs of boots, high heels, or standard running shoes. You can slide several of these under one bed, making for great storage space.
A closet shoe organizer is typically just a cubby hole box that is designed to house your shoes and keep them easily accessible. This style of storage container offers more space than the over door counterparts, but often less room than if you employed several under the bed organizers. The up side is that many closet organizing kits come with these cubbies attached, so if you are organizing your closet, there is no need to purchase a shoe organizer separately.
