What is one of the biggest sources of clutter near your door? Usually it shoes. People walk into the home, kick off their shoes and leave them there. It seems like this is the favorite game for kids. Take them off and leave them there for us adults to trip over.

A shoe storage cabinet is a great way to end the clutter and get rid of all those shoes by the door. Yes you can throw them in the hall closet, but then that turns into another pile of shoes. By using a shoe storage cabinet, you can easily organize your shoes and free up some room in your closet.
Shoe cabinets allow you to hide your shoes out in the open. What do I mean by that? You can place a shoe cabinet in your hall or in a room. It looks like a piece of nice furniture, but it conceals your shoes in an organized way.
The way it works is that when you go to open the cabinet, instead of pulling it out like a drawer, you pull it down. This opens the cabinet and the shoes are on racks attached to the cabinet door. When it is fully opened, all of your shoes are right in front of you together. No more search for the other half of your shoes. After selecting your shoes, simply close the drawer and you’re ready to go.
Generally each drawer can hole 2 to 3 racks of shoes with each rack holding 4 pairs of shoes. Of course larger model will hold more. You can get a small one drawer shoe storage cabinet to ones that have 2 or 3 drawers.
