Buying a shoe storage bench seat will not only be a practical investment, but also might bring some peace to your home. No more telling people to get their shoes away from the front door or tripping over shoes left there. With a shoe bench, shoes are placed in it and no more mess by the front door.
Not only will it clean out the area by the door, it will also help clean out your closet too. Is the bottom of your hall closet a pile of shoes? One way to get rid of that and to bring order to your closet is to use a storage bench.
Another benefit is that you will actually have a place to sit when you go to put your shoes on. How many of us either drop down to one knee to put shoes on, or lean against the wall putting shoes on or taking them off. What about your kids? They sit on the floor as you try to tie them. This is why I love a shoes storage bench with seat. It keeps all of ours shoes neat and organized for openers. The added benefit is that you have a convenient place to sit and put them on.
You can find a shoe bench seat ranging in size from 24 inches wide all the ways up to 60 inches wide. The lower priced shoes benches seating area will be made of wood. As you start to go up in price, you will find padded seats made of fabric up to leather-padded benches.
These benches will usually have cubbies for you to place your shoes in. This is a great way to organize your shoes. Some people don’t want to see their shoes hanging out like that, so they will then choose a shoe storage bench with doors to seclude their shoes.
As an added convenience, you may want to look for a shoe storage bench with drawers. The drawers will be just under the sitting area and above the shoes. You will find anywhere from 2 to 4 drawers available depending on the size of the storage bench. This is a great place to put keys, pocket books and any other item you need in the morning when you leave. It can also be a great place to store gloves, hats and scarves in the winter and save you from looking through the closet for them.
